Terms of Service
Last updated: August 7, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of TweetExporter ("the service", "we", "us"). By creating an account, buying credits, or ordering an export, you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that company.
2. The service
TweetExporter lets you order exports of publicly available X/Twitter data — an account's followers, the accounts it follows, its tweets, or tweets matching a search query — delivered as downloadable CSV or JSON files.
Exports are paid for with prepaid credits. One credit corresponds to one exported row. New accounts receive 50 free trial credits after verifying their email address. Finished files remain available for download for 90 days, after which they are deleted from our servers.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You need an account to order exports. You can register with an email address and password, a magic link, or Google sign-in. You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure — actions taken through your account are your responsibility.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the service.
4. Credits, payments, and refunds
Credits are sold in prepaid packs and processed by our payment provider. Credits never expire and are non-transferable between accounts.
You are only charged for rows actually delivered: when an export completes with fewer rows than estimated, you pay for the delivered rows; when an export fails, the reserved credits are refunded automatically and in full. Refunds of unused credit packs are handled as described in our Fulfillment Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to harass, stalk, or harm any person; to send unsolicited bulk communications; to discriminate unlawfully; or to violate any applicable law, including data protection and privacy laws.
You agree not to probe, overload, or disrupt the service, resell access to it, or misrepresent exported data as being endorsed by us or by X Corp.
6. Data sources and your responsibilities
Exports contain only publicly available data — the same information anyone can view on a public profile. We do not access private accounts, direct messages, or any data behind a login that isn't yours.
Once you download an export, you are the controller of that data. You are responsible for using it lawfully in your jurisdiction, including compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, and for respecting the rights of the people whose public data appears in your files.
7. Intellectual property
The service, including its software, design, and branding, is our property. Exported data is factual public information; we claim no ownership over it and grant you no rights beyond delivering it to you. TweetExporter is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Public profile data changes constantly; we do not guarantee that any export is complete, accurate, or current at the moment you download it. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund your unused credit balance.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
